BG PXT Performance Exchange for Transmissions

BG PXT™ allows automotive professionals to perform a complete transmission fluid exchange in just four to six minutes! 

Traditional transmission fluid exchange methods, such as a pan drop or a transmission flush, do not remove all of the old fluid before new fluid is added. The old fluid quickly contaminates the newly added fluid, causing it to break down much more quickly than clean ATF. Contaminated transmission fluid leaves behind deposits that can cause gear grinding, delayed transmission response, stalling, or failure.

As an integral part of the BG Transmission Service, the PXT™ removes old, worn out automatic transmission fluid while adding new fluid such as BG Universal Synthetic ATF or BG Universal Synthetic CVT Fluid. The simultaneous exchange method, along with BG PXT’s dual pumps, make for a much faster exchange. This also permits very little intermixing of new and old fluids, meaning the new fluid will not be contaminated and will last significantly longer than in traditional methods. Once the fluid exchange is complete, additives such as BG ATC Plus or BG Universal Synthetic CVT Fluid Conditioner can be installed through the machine to protect the transmission and prolong fluid life.

BG PXT™ features an onboard computer with a full-color, multi-language touchscreen that allows users to select weight measurements in gallons or liters. It also leads the technician through each step of the automatic transmission fluid exchange service and counts the services performed in over a chosen period of time. With adjustable fluid metering control, technicians can customize each service to model-specific requirements.
