BG Products Now RECOMMENDED by Ford and GM in the US

In September 2024 it was announced BG Products and Ford Motorcraft® have partnered on two new Motorcraft® Fuel System Cleaning products for Ford vehicles at locations throughout the United States.

This groundbreaking announcement followed soon after the similarly exciting news of a partnership with General Motors/Al Delco to offer enhanced maintenance services for GM vehicles in the US using approved BG fuel system cleaning products.

Both GM and Ford describe a clean fuel system as critical for optimum vehicle performance and to help motorists achieve this:

  • GM/AC Delco now offer enhanced maintenance services for GM vehicles using "approved BG fuel system cleaning products to properly maintain petrol and diesel vehicles".

  • Ford Motorcraft now offer BG preventive maintenance fuel products for Ford vehicles to "help reduce the negative effects of lost combustion chamber efficiency due to contamination".

With confirmation that BG Products had achieved the OEMs' stringent product safety and testing requirements, BG CEO Darin Greseth hailed the GM decision as "the most exciting time in the 52-year history of BG Products". And following the endorsement from Ford, as "exciting to see another OE manufacturer recognise the quality of BG Products".
